No offense, but that was just an ignorant response. You say you've "seen" death many times. Well, guess what? That doesn't mean shit. You still don't know for a fact what actually happens when we die. Obviously the brain is going to shut down. And it would be scientifically impossible for an afterlife to even exist if we need to actually bring our brains with us. That's why an afterlife is religion, not science. If you believed in God (which you don't) you wouldn't be talking about the brain shutting down etc. All you really need is a soul.
(Which is going to bring you into your next argument, "there is no soul" lol)
