Why do sponsers have such high reputation effects

-4/+4 is huge compared to other groups.

A bit "overpowered" if I do say so myself, the only other group I know that can do it as high as sponsers is staff and management.

Shouldn't it be.

RG Elite -2/+2
Sponser -3/+3
Moderators -4/+4
Staff -5/+5
Management -10/+10

This isn't about reputation, it's about equality.

Sure people "pay" for better forum access but overdoing it ruins it for everyone else.

Doesn't really ruin it for someone, it's there available to buy.

Wrong, it's not available to buy for everyone. Not everyone has the capability to fork over 40$+ for all the upgrades. In turn, the abundance of immaturity that plagues our upgraded users dampens the total forum status down to a few children bickering.

Now who would want to stay or even want to upgrade in a forum like that?

Wrong, it's actually 25$.
Secondly, it IS available to everyone. If they want Sponsor bad enough and cannot afford to pay the 25$, they can just as easily bot to gain RSGP. The Elite accepts RSGP as well, about 30M should award someone with Sponsor status.
This being said, if the extra privileges that come with being a Sponsor/Elite entice someone enough, they DO have the opportunity to buy them. Therefore, it doesn't make it "unfair" to them that upgraded members have the ability to award more rep and so forth.

To feed our already "power-hungry" mindsets? No thanks.

Also, The Elite refused to take my RSGP for any upgrades, and a group creation. I myself cannot use paypal, so that avenue of payment is out of the window.
