Just because I can use a bigger number doesn't make my opinion any more important than theirs.

But if everyone's opinion is equal in value, I don't get what the purpose of having different numbers is? There's no use for it. What added benefit does having +/- 2,3, etc. provide us that just having +/-1 wouldn't, if you're claiming everyone's input is equal? There's no use for it.

Amount of rep you can give=/= the importance of your opinion.

Then what is the meaning of having different levels of rep (2,3,etc.) if no matter what number you leave it all comes down to the simple idea (good or bad)?

So now you're saying what Solidify has been saying this whole time. Sponsors opinion shouldn't be any more important than a normal member.

I think you misunderstood. I'm saying just because your number is bigger your opinion isn't stronger, its not the same thing. You can buy the right to give more rep and it doesn't reflect your opinion strength. It's just a reward for helping the forum out.

Sure it's just a reward for helping the forum financially but I don't support what the reward brings about. It stirs up more problems.

No, I was saying that no one's opinion should be any more important than any one else's, not only sponsors'.
