The second one is just offensive. Couldn't positive things lead to the development of homosexuality in the future?
You must understand that the third case isn't actually homosexuality, it's merely an illusion of homosexuality. They are not actually attracted to the other sex, therefore wouldn't even classify for the category of 'homosexual'.

I have never heard anyone who is gay from you last statement. I think the first two make you assume your last statement. I mean there were gays all the way back in Roman and Greek times. Also, number 2 should be reworded to an event (Like having intercourse with a girl, finding it disgusting, and changing on that you want to have intercourse with men).Chic said:

Yes, and back in those times sexual orientation meant nothing. People only started being against gays after Christianity was popularized. You could be gay in Rome and no one would care as long as you paid your taxes and respected the emperor.

I'm a little surprised as well.
'If you think someone chooses to be gay, you are quite delusional. All mammals exhibit homosexual behavior, meaning it occurs naturally. If you deny that, you're denying reality. Plus, who would choose to be ostracized from their families, hated by the majority of their country, and denied basic human rights. Gay people don't choose to be gay, just like how you don't choose to be straight.'

Correct. Which means your choosing to be bisexual. Just as you choose to be straight or gay. I really don't see how you can refuse to believe you have control over your sexual preference.

You are bisexual if you are able to switch between sexes with no preference. However, it's not like I could choose to be sexually attracted to a man, or how I could not choose to be attracted to a woman. I refuse to believe it because the evidence isn't there. Everything we know about biology and psychology illustrates the exact opposite of your point.
Think of it this way. Let's label straight as right-handed, and gay as left-handed. If I'm right-handed, did I choose to be right-handed? Of course not. The same goes for homosexuality.
I would suggest doing some research before you continue to spout ignorance and illogic.

The articles on that page show me nothing of biological connection to being homosexual.
As for the hand analogy. Where did those traits come from? Your mother and your father. That is applicable for any traits you carry because you were created by them. How is a heterosexual couple going to have a baby that has, for lack of a better word, a 'gay gene' in it? I don't see where that would come from.

It's quite simple, actually. There are recessive genes, for example, that don't show in the parent. The same gene can be passed down to a child, but it might not be recessive. For every gene, there is a 50% chance that the gene will be recessive when it is passed down. Of course, there really is no gay gene, but rather a large fast combination of genes, so this would play out on a larger scale. Epigenetics is the study of environmental effects on the human genome. People may have the correct genes for homosexuality but those genes won't be turned on unless there are certain factors in their birth, conception, and early life. It's quite fascinating how outside factors can play a role in genetics.
You can see this in real world examples. Parents who are both right-handed can possibly have a left-handed child. It happens all the time.

Well you cannot make the argument that all gays are born gay, because there are some gays that were straight and then became fully gay (they did not like their opposite sex at all, therefore, they are not bisexual).
They might have switched because of an experience with the opposite sex or an event that happened in their mind.
