When I say "them," I am referring to them as a group of people, which is an accurate statement. Considering that I am not gay, I cannot use "us." Using "them" to describe homosexuals does not show that I think of them as lesser beings. I refer to Christians, Republicans, minorities, etc. as "them," but only because I am not a member of that specific group. I believe they are equals and should be treated as such.

Then again, I said "Some" and by referring to a group by using the word "them" you are saying that the said group isn't the same as the group you are currently in. Though this is not what the thread is really about.

Yes, but it is still able to be debated over, since it is along the lines of the same topic. We are all humans. But, we are different. Gay people are different from straight people, this is a fact. Now, this doesn't mean they aren't equal. I am only using "them" to refer to gay people because I am indeed not a homosexual, which makes me different from them. Being different does not constitute inequality.

Then wouldn't it be more proper to say "homosexuals" instead of "Them" ? Also, you just said that homosexuals aren't equal to heterosexual, I am sure that was a typo...

That was a typo, indeed. There is no difference between using "homosexuals" and "them." I don't think you truly understand the meaning of the word.

To be honest I personally don't like them I can see why girls would like them but like if you're a guy with a gay friends it's just..

Now that's their choice and life and I will not criticize them.

What's wrong with having a gay friend? I have one or two.

I am not saying it's wrong it's just I am a Catholic and in my religion that is not accepted and in my eyes it just doesn't look right. But then again people have their own choices in life and choose who they want to be and become.

That's your problem. You're getting your opinion on social issues from a 2,000 year old book written by Roman aristocrats. Critical thinking is absent in most religions. Try that.

To me, that view is more blind than a person who cannot see or feel. Its purely something people stated before to have someone to look down at..

The way most religions view homosexuals is a messed up way of viewing. There is no reason to look down at them nor any reason to view homosexuals as different than themselves. They are more blind with their religion than without it.

To be honest some gays are just too much, I dont mind them tho. They're people just like all of us but they have different opinions. My brother is gay but you'd never be able to tell by looking at him. But there are some gays that just are too much that if they dont get what they want they say "why because im gay" or some ignorant shit

Your religious text also dictates that you are to silence woman and are to kill anyone who works on the sabbath. However, something tells me you don't follow these tenets. Hence, why bother to even follow this ridiculous guideline?

"It doesn't look right." That's seriously your justification for not liking them?

Homosexuality is not a life choice; don't be so foolish.

I don't necessarily have a problem it's just to me it doesn't look normal but I am not criticizing them I just don't like it especially if they "Hit on me." I am not being foolish.

Phones, cars, computers, modern technology wouldn't look normal to someone from a present day African tribe, however, that doesn't mean therefore be intolerant of it.

You called homosexuality a choice, you are indeed being a fool. No human asks themselves "How can I get bullied more in school?" and concludes homosexuality. That's absolute malarkey.

Coming from someone that's been straight their whole life, I don't mind homosexuality.
I personally have a few friends that are homosexual, and their great people.
People make homosexuality out to be this horrendous thing, but I don't see the harm in people liking the same gender.
It's a sin, sure. But most all humans commit one if not all seven deadly sins. If all of us commit sins, who cares if they fall in love.
I've been born and raised as a strong Christian, but dissing on homosexuality is something that I refuse to think is right.
The rundown of it all amuses me a great deal, just imagine if you were with a girl that you loved more than anything, but you guys can't be together just because. It would hurt quite a bit, wouldn't it?
I truly don't see how homosexuality hurts anyone that's straight/Christian.
Again, as a Christian it is a subject that has never offended me.

This quote about homosexuality humors me.
"I went to subway today to get my favorite sandwich. The man infront of me ordered a different sub. I got really pïssed because he didn't get the same thing as me, even though it didn't affect me in any way."

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, believe and think however you want.
But homosexuality is something that I'd always defend.

I haven't a problem with gays, my best mate is a homosexual, my cousin is a homosexual. But what some of you have said is absolutely right. People who feel the need to tell everyone and be effeminate annoy me, you're a male and men like you because of that, men don't like you because you act like a female.

Both my best mate and cousin are what you could call the 'ideal gay'. They both were brought up in religious families but once they came out realised it's all bull shit and went on their way, but unlike other gays they choose not to bag religion and all of those things out. Because in all honesty, gays are under more fire because of them retaliating to the religious believers nonsense beliefs in ways that are just ridiculous.

TL;DR Gays are fine, I don't care what they do, it's their business not the business of any 'straight' man.
