Opinions on gays?

You're basing all of this off of stereotypes. First, you have the loving feminine mother, and then you have the strict father. These a purely stereotypes. You don't have to have those two types of parents to grow up happy. By your logic, they need both of these qualities to grow up happy. So, why can't the roles be switched, or put into one parent, or put into two of the same gender parents. It wouldn't make a difference. Also, what lead you to the conclusion that this is what you need to grow up happy?

Also, those numbers you made up are complete bullshit.

As long as they don't try to make a move or something on me, I really don't care what they find attractive or do in there spare time.
I will agree with another user, gay men kissing grosses me the fuck out. Especially when they add tongue. Just No. :S

This is a double-standard, and an awful one at that. You don't like it when homosexuals impose their sexuality on you, but you think it's acceptable to impose your sexuality on them. @"Cann!bal" said this best. You're acting like you're tolerant of them, when in-fact you're almost as intolerant as those who say they hate gays.

Agreed on bullshit numbers! And you sort of made me change my mind partly because I still believe that bullying will be there. And kids can really pay attention to stiff we don't like mother's day but if the gay parents take each a role that can be much much better.

Bullying is a whole separate issue, and shouldn't make people change who they are. We all need to work to stop intolerance and bullying. The only reason bullying would happen in this scenario is because of the misconceived stereotypes that you outlined in your original post.

Mother's day is not a very convincing argument as to why gays shouldn't marry.

Parents don't need to have defined roles. As long as they are good parents, give the child all of their effort, and help them succeed, I see no problem.

Sexuality shouldn't be something anyone is ashamed of, I'll let you guys all in on a little secret. The only reason homosexuality and all of that gets so much hate is due to propaganda spread by the media, funded by the government, fueled by people's insecurities in their own sexuality, so they lash out at others for it.

I don't like to associate myself or have any connection to them. They don't bother me by their sexuality, but by their personality. If you are gay you don't have to sound like a girl, you don't have to look and walk like a girl, you don't have to dress like a freak, and you don't have to have a different laugh than everyone els(as in high and changed from their original). I wouldn't care a guy person that behaved like nothing effected him, but with my experiences they all act way beyond a personality of a straight person.

Unfortunately you're on the internet Astro, you're not going to find too many people to keep an intelligent argument with. No offense to the other user, I'm not here to poke a fight.
