Can you prove that God ever existed. There is no proof...

I don't believe in god kinda...
but i know a story (true story) that happened to a friend of mine that would make you think twice about it.

also if god were 'real' then there wouldn't be a point to faith.
I heard he puts us here as a test to see if we will choose a path on our own.
That's the only reason why i think he wouldn't say anything.
just quoting :p

This is the answer right here: We Shouldn't be listening to a book written 3,000 years ago.

all of these can very much so be argued about. for an example... you scientifically prove god? i'm assuming that you think scientists have proved the big bang theory and the idea the we evolved from monkeys. both of have never and will never be proved.

Through scientific method we aren't going to be able to prove whether god is real or not, so it's up to you to chose. It's as simple as that. People just need to have more tolerance towards other people's views.

You can logically reason as to why there is no god based on what evidence we do have and the lack of evidence proving there is a god, but if there isn't this direct proof, or case-ending evidence, then it's up in the air.

Personally, I disagree with the idea of putting that much faith in anyone/anything else beside yourself.

You control the strings, it just takes a while to see them, untangle them, and get them moving the way you want.

You can't scientifically prove or disprove God, because God is unfalsifiable. You can make an argument that God doesn't exist with science, common sense, and logic, but again God is unfalsifiable. There is a vast amount of evidence for evolution. It's basically fact. I hope you're not a creationist. The big bang theory has a good amount of evidence, too, and it's the majorly favored theory by all scientists.

Evolution was not has not ever been proven, the reason they teach it in school is because they need a more reasonable explanation... but Mechanism Evolution has... that is where you inherit traits from your parents. AA, Aa, BB, Bb. the big bang theory is just a theory, it has never been proven either. If you can prove Evolution/ the big bang theory created earth, than i will honestly drop religion and become atheist. (By the way atheists don't think evolution created earth because it's a belief, never proven)

Look at the immense amount of supporting evidence for evolution and decide by yourself if it is indeed a fact. I'm not debating here to preach atheism to others, I'm here because I enjoy debating about theology and God. Anyways, there are many scientific organizations that already accept evolution as a fact. Why are we even talking about the Big Bang theory? It doesn't refute God.

Atheists only belief that involves atheism is that there is no god. It's their personal belief if the big bang is a fact.

I totally agree with your opinion Cannibal, but just out curiosity what are Ghosts then? Just wondering as they are real doesn't it make you think maybe theirs another parallel universe or something?

I don't believe in ghosts nor have I seen any valid evidence of them but I haven't really researched ghosts. Although I do believe there is a possibility of a parallel universe.

I agree with every point you made, theirs no reason to believe in a God or any other mythology. I feel religion has as much proof for it as Unicorns, Ghosts, and bigfoot has.

That's where you're wrong! Religion has a 2000 year old primitive book! So God must be real!
No offense, just saying it for comedic purposes

As Christians, we believe without seeing. If your friend comes up to you and says he got a new Xbox game, are you going to force him to make you see it with your own eyes until you believe him? I think not.

Just Google believing without seeing.

How can you even use such a bad example in this type of argument?

You can't even begin to compare an Xbox game to something as grave as religion let's get more realistic here. It's like if your friend came up to you and said he grew a third arm and you just believe in it off of Faith. This isn't about xbox games, or even third arms this is about religion and using examples like that is almost like trying to make US look stupid for questioning some magical sky god(s) up there watching over us.

Believing something with facts is just insane in this day and age. You think with all of the exploration that we did in these modern days we would of at least found SOMETHING to support the bibles evidence that was backed up by science but No we haven't.

It was just an example. And buddy, there is tons of proof. If you were a Christian and you went to all those Bible classes and stuff you would know more about it.

So, if I were to say I have a unicorn at my house, are you going to have to force me to show you him and see him with your own eyes until you believe me? I think so.

Please tell me all of the proof that you have, that has evidence to support it I bet you won't come back with anything except for bible stories that were written by man in the first place.

They teach those classes in a completely biased way. I was raised a theist and continued to be one until I did research by myself and came to the conclusion that there is no possibility of a God, or the popularly believed gods at least.
