RE: Why I don't believe in God

DNA Evolution has been proven. humans evolving has not. you can not say the humans evolving from Apes is a fact when it hasn't been proven. Evolution is a belief, a theory, based upon ideas from scientists such as human evolving from apes. but they're just ideas and thoughts. Evolutionists think it's how we were created. okay, and the big bang theory? just because there is stars in the spread out, doesn't prove that a big blast of gas and shit caused it. how has science completely 100% evolution and the big bang theory? it hasn't your getting all your ideas off of Wikipedia. you or the internet or anyone on this thread has proved to me evolution is a fact. there is short ideas of evidence that may lead to it but its not 100%.

You need to be open to learn it to really learn it not be dead set that your religion is the almighty source of information.

I've never one said we proved it 100 percent, i've said we proved it with our scientific theorys and they're not just "ideas" they've been looked over thousands, and thousands of times before being called a theory. We have proved that humans have evolved from apes using natural selection you can look it up and stop being so closed minded and clicking on random websites you know have no credibility to give you some false sense of security that you're right.

Not once did I say that the big bang theory has been proven because stars spread out it has more proof than I have understanding for but I know theirs more proof out there than just that. The universe is expanding every second getting larger, and larger. When we look into deep space billions of years into the past because that's how long it takes for the light to reach us we can see heat radiating in the background, the clouds of all of the base chemicals we have today that formed the stars. If you want to see debates between the religious and evolution look up Richard Dawkins and watch his book being read called "The god delusion" I believe it's called.

I've not looked at a wikipedia once during this whole debate nor have I ever learned from a wikipedia page. The intelligence that you're putting forward right now makes me believe you are not even out of grade 7 yet because you seem to have no understanding of science at all, and yet if you do you choose to ignore proven facts. Look it up my friend if we proved the evolution of bacteria on the microscopic scale why can't we prove evolution on a macroscopic scale it makes no sense to think it only applies to a smaller world under the same physics we are. Not to mention that us being related to them that much with DNA is enough proof for anyone to know we come from them, because if we didn't we would barely have any DNA relation at all we're 99.8 percent alike or something along those numbers to apes in relation DNA wise.

RE: Why I don't believe in God

I agree with the points mentioned by the OP. I believe in God but have never seen God but still I like to believe that there is one holy power who is watching us and guiding us all life. He is unseen like wind and unknown but is still next to us every moment of our life and judges us on our good and bad deeds.

You make a lot of valid points. I respect your views and position. I still believe in the Bible. It serves as a guide in this world we live in.

RE: Why I don't believe in God

i will suggest you to read Holy Quran. You will get these answers
1-God is everywhere
2-He is the creator of every living thing in this universe.
3-Only knowledge can prove my existence so study and study.
Holy Quran says:
“Do you not see that God has subjected for you all that is in the Heavens and all that is on the Earth, and has completed and perfected His Bounties upon you, [both] apparent and hidden?...” (Quran 31:20)

God is the owner of everything, from the heavens to the earth. We learn the attributes of God from the Quran:
“God! There is no god but Him, the Living, the Self-Sufficient. He is not subject to drowsiness or sleep. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them but they cannot grasp any of His knowledge save what He wills. His Footstool encompasses the heavens and the earth and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent.” (Quran 2:255)

May God give you guidance and help u to find out the right path.. ameen

Radical claims call for radical proof. The Qur'an is not valid evidence.

Plus, I would never even consider believing in Allah. He is the most evil and twisted God to ever be created by man, far more worse than the God of the bible.

If you really followed and believed the teachings of the Bible, you would end up in prison. The actual morals of the bible derive from human morality, human morality does not derive from the bible.

You raise some valid points, but the massacre of the innocents was never historically proven, as it's only mentioned in the Gospel of Matthew, and even then, the accuracy of it has been doubted.

I personally believe in God and everyone has the freedom to believe whatever they want. These are good points but don't change my belief or make me doubt one bit.

He never stated that he wished for you to change your beliefs, he merely stated his reasons for not holding the same beliefs as you. I'm with him on this one though, it isn't feasible or logical for God to exist, and certainly not just the god from Christianity.

The existence of a God is possible, everything is possible. However, every possibility comes with an improbability. Based on evidence and logic, the possibility of there being a God is astronomically insignificant.

My use of the word feasible wasn't literal. As you said, the odds are insignificant compared to the odds of the opposite being true, and thus, I exaggerated my word choice.

You make a valid point. I would point out something that you missed, but there is nothing that you missed.

Well if you don't believe then you don't believe.

No one can change that except for yourself.

If you do start believing, God is forgiving.

RE: Why I don't believe in God

Well, many seem to abide by their own understandings & beliefs etc. I believe in God because I know with all my heart God is real. When people's thinking is controlled by the sinful self, they are against God, because they refuse to obey God's law. You have receive God into your life because he is not waiting to receive you he's waiting for you to receive him. Ask him to reveal his existence to you, I'm sure he will. But you must have faith.
