You're going to have to point out the 'proof of god' you're referring to. It's entirely plausible that the bible (old testament at the very least) is fictional. There is NO PROOF of god, so why don't you make a rational argument before telling him to sit down.

You're making no sense. Try Googling basic sentence structure and grammatical tips, you'd benefit a tonne from the help. I THINK you're saying that if I ask 'god' then I'll receive answers? News flash, people in poor countries ask god for help all the time then promptly starve to death. There goes that idea. Perhaps you could actually point to some TANGIBLE PROOF, rather than hearsay and blind faith as your reasoning for why you believe a god, particularly the one you follow, exists.

Great to see you're being mature about things. I love when a person has no valid response to an argument how they often fall back on personal insults and thinks that they come off as being an intelligent, informed person. You don't.

Well, many seem to abide by their own understandings & beliefs etc. I believe in God because I know with all my heart God is real. When people's thinking is controlled by the sinful self, they are against God, because they refuse to obey God's law. You have receive God into your life because he is not waiting to receive you he's waiting for you to receive him. Ask him to reveal his existence to you, I'm sure he will. But you must have faith.

God's law? Yes, let's persecute and slaughter the homosexuals, the witches, those who refuse to listen to the priest, fortunetellers, the adulterers, the fornicators, the bratty children. Let's follow God's law.

Read what your God's laws really are before you even attempt to enforce your unsubstantiated beliefs on anyone.

I will not have faith in any God for the reasoning that you can apply faith to any God no matter how outrageous or realistic they are, nor will faith ever be able to distinguish if it's the right God.

If he truly is what he is claiming others are not, he will spend 10 minutes of his life to watch that. Hopefully it will be enough to help him understand where we are coming from. If he chooses not to watch it, may he find his way back in the herd of sheep.

I was afraid of a response like that. All I ask is that you present this proof to the best of your ability. Whether it be you or me, one of us can come out with a bit more knowledge on the opposing point of view than we did before. If you truly believe in god, and that he (it) is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, you as a human being should be more than willing to share this great knowledge with those who dont believe the same as you do, for the better sake of your fellow man. So please, do tell.

I can't tell you much of nothing you maybe willing to learn but I can't teach you these things I can tell you about them but in the end it's still on you to go to him if you have problems with him not existing.

I know my words can't do much if you still are like "well I have never seen him I have no valid proof of his existence" etc. which I understand I can see your point of view.

This transcends regular human understanding I can't even express it in words, if you're not ignorant and where not trained by your parents to believe then you wondered it's really something that just happens.

I can actually say I half believed until about 4 months or so ago when I went to Kansas with my parents and we went to a pastors house to have dinner you know when you go over for dinner it's never really just dinner with church folks.

I'm sure you know what a prophet is that is what I am and while I was over there I could see things in parents life that I know would come to pass without even ever knowing anything about that topic I just had that feeling that what I was saying was truth.

Just about everything that I said is happening now or already happened in my parents life.

That's about as best as I can describe to you why I believe, it's just something you know is truth even without evidence of ever seeing god you just know his presence is there

Look at everyone else's personal evidences; all coming from different religions and beliefs. How does your personal evidence make you right?

Personal evidence does not distinguish that the God you believe in, is the right God; nor does it prove God to yourself. It just strengthens your faith, which is based on irrational grounds.

No matter what you say it's almost irrelevant to me my beliefs have been set and are not changing I see that you don't believe in things that cannot be seen or proven and that's the reason why your atheist I'm just not that way I can't be swayed.
