This is untrue. There are genes that may be related to having a 40% chance of homosexuality, the rest may come from environmental factors. Keep in mind, none of this is confirmed, this is all theoretical based on similarities within homosexuals genetics, and to my knowledge, only applies to males.

It's a choice or rather a preference. I've seen men and women go from straight to bi to all the way homosexual. It's not some stupid "destiny". It's a preference, each person chooses who they are attracted to.

@Leader then explain to me, why can you look at a woman, love her, yet I'll look at the same woman, and will never be able to love her. It's not like you both were "destined" to be wed.

That contradicts what you said above. You said it's a preference who you love, as in you choose who you love, but then you said that you could look at someone and never love them. By your logic, you would be able to love her because it's all preference.

I never mentioned the word destiny, nor do I believe in such a thing.

It's not a choice. Your sexuality is engrained into your brain, whether you like it or not. No gay person chooses to be gay more than you choose to be straight.

Yes, you can choose to engage in intercourse with either a male or a female. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that you're sexually attracted to this sexual partner. I don't see what you're getting at.

I will say this with pride, I am highly against homosexuality however I would NEVER bully, harass or go even as little as stating my opinion in most circumstances. With this being said just because I am straight doesn't mean you can make me love just any old haggard chick, that remark was just outrageous.

You don't seem to be understanding what I'm saying. I'll make it very black and white for you.

If I choose to engage in intercourse with a female, and I am attracted to this female, I am straight.

If I choose to engage in intercourse with both a male, and I am attracted to this male, I am gay.

If I choose to engage in intercourse with both a man and a woman, and I am attracted to both the man and the woman, then I am bisexual.

Must I make this any clearer?

The fact that they aren't aware that their actions are different from normal shows that it isn't a choice.

Little kids can act like that and grow up straight. It isn't anything of meaning to them. This doesn't prove anything.
