Color said:This is untrue. There are genes that may be related to having a 40% chance of homosexuality, the rest may come from environmental factors. Keep in mind, none of this is confirmed, this is all theoretical based on similarities within homosexuals genetics, and to my knowledge, only applies to males.

@Leader then explain to me, why can you look at a woman, love her, yet I'll look at the same woman, and will never be able to love her. It's not like you both were "destined" to be wed.
Solar said:@"Leader"'s most recent response is sufficient, so there's no point in my giving you the same answer. I will reiterate one thing, though, just so that there's no more confusion. It's not a choice, end of story.
Yea, but @"philly"'s post are also valid responses.Solar said:@"Leader"'s most recent response is sufficient, so there's no point in my giving you the same answer. I will reiterate one thing, though, just so that there's no more confusion. It's not a choice, end of story.
Malzahar said:Then what the hell is it. If it's not a choice, what is it? I can CHOOSE to stick my dick in a guy's anus, or I can CHOOSE to have sexual interactions with a female.

Leader said:Yes, you can. But what you cannot choose is what you are attracted to.
Malzahar said:OK. I'll accept (doesn't mean I'll agree), your idea if you can tell me what it is, if it's not a choice.
Leader said:It's not a choice. Your sexuality is engrained into your brain, whether you like it or not. No gay person chooses to be gay more than you choose to be straight.
Malzahar said:You keep spouting off that it's not a choice. If it is not a choice, then what is it?

Solar said:Yes, you can choose to engage in intercourse with either a male or a female. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that you're sexually attracted to this sexual partner. I don't see what you're getting at.

I think some people are forced to be straight, because to me some people probably think itt is a way to thrive and reproduce. Malzahar said:Let me clarify this @"Leader"... you are saying that you are BORN with your attraction? That it's your destiny? If so.. how do people change from straight to bi to gay etc?
Philly said:I will say this with pride, I am highly against homosexuality however I would NEVER bully, harass or even state my opinion in most circumstances. With this being said just because I am straight doesn't mean you can make me love just any old haggard chick, that remark was just outrageous.
Leader said:Don't try and put words into my mouth. Destiny means "the events that will necessarily happen to a particular person or thing in the future", and the fact that homosexuality is not a choice does not have any relation to the future, but a relation to the past. People may have realized that they aren't the sexuality they thought they were, or the decided to share it with the world.
What makes your dislike it?
Malzahar said:Let me clarify this @"Leader"... you are saying that you are BORN with your attraction? That it's your destiny? If so.. how do people change from straight to bi to gay etc?
Leader said:The fact that they aren't aware that their actions are different from normal shows that it isn't a choice.
Malzahar said:I don't "dislike" it.. I'm looking at this with reason. So you believe that you are born with it, but sometimes you aren't sure what you like?
